I’m driving to New York to make a TV show for NBC called “Next Caller.” It’s a midseason show so we have no air date yet. Just a shoot date. We’re on the bench; except we’re guaranteed some playing time. Like Pee Wee baseball. People ask why we’re making the show in New York but the answer is of course money. It’s always money. I haven’t lived in New York since I was 22. Should be fun. I’ve never run my own show. Should be terrifying.

I hope you watch when we eventually air. Also, our final season of Weeds just started on Showtime. It’s a good one. I wrote episode 5 and 11—which will be our 100th episode and as such is a special episode with old friends.

In the meantime, I’m reviewing and grading all the states we pass through over on Twitter. Up next: Nebraska!
